NSW Plumbing Inspections
Important Information

Notice:

From 1 March 2026, all Certificates of Compliance and Inspection for gasfitting work must be submitted through the new BCNSW eCert portal.

BCNSW eCert portal is now live.

Key changes:

  • Autogas fitters will no longer submit their certificate of inspection on the MyInspections portal or the BCNSW eCert portal from 1 March 2026.
  • Plumbers will continue to use the MyInspections portal for their submissions for all plumbing and drainage works. Only gasfitting CoCs & CoIs will be submitted via the eCert portal.
  • Existing gasfitting CoCs and CoIs will be migrated from MyInspections to BCNSW eCert - only when they can be linked to an individual licensee. This includes any certificates lodged during December, January or February. Certificates will be transferred across in planned stages and will be visible in BCNSW eCert. Please allow approx. one month for the transfer to be completed.

For more information and resources, visit BCNSW eCert.
